In 1997, Uncommon Grounds opened its second location on Western Avenue. Nestled amidst The University of Albany, the Capitol and its many state buildings, and a shopping paradise, Uncommon Grounds Albany houses our signature Probat roaster and a full-scale bagel bakery. It was here that our legendary bagels originated. Although the setting is different, the core components are the same – exceptionally fresh coffee and bagels. Additionally, custom made chopped salads are a favorite among our busy lunch crowd. With a different shape and feel from our Saratoga location, Albany Uncommon Grounds has a strong community vibe welcomed by all customers.
