Monday Link Round-Up
Posted on May. 10, 2010 by Uncommon Grounds in Monday Links
Each Monday we pull together links from around the internet that we find to be fun, worthwhile visits. We’d love to hear what you think in the comments below. Please enjoy!
COFFEE LINKS:
Following up on the “$12 cup of coffee” articles swirling around the blogosphere a few weeks ago, The Shot offers an interesting perspective on the situation.
Like a latté to go with that expensive car? Barista Magazine points out that Mercedes-Benz is offering just that…
Speaking of expense, apparently Robert De Niro is not a cheap coffee date! (via Coffee Sage)
Art in My Coffee post of the week – spooky creepy latté!! (Looks a little bit like Voldemort from our perspective!)
LOCAL LINKS:
In the Biz notes that Sara and Rob’s Laundromat is now open! This small, new operation is located right around the corner from UG Saratoga at 6 Phila Street and is the only “downtown” laundromat.
This past weekend was the 62nd annual Tulip Fest in Albany. The finicky weather lead to some interesting photo situations (hail? blinding sun?), so check out all the photos tagged “Tulip Fest” on Flickr. Did you brave the wiles of May weather?
VIDEO OF THE WEEK:
Check out London Cafeterias in the 50s-60s…
