Monday Link Round-Up
Posted on Mar. 01, 2010 by Uncommon Grounds in Monday Links
Each Monday we pull together links from around the internet that we find to be fun, worthwhile visits. We’d love to hear what you think in the comments below. Please enjoy!
TEA TALK:
The Huffington Post has a great article titled “20 New Anti-Cancer Rules” – most are ideas we’ve probably heard before, but it’s a great reminder to have them all in one place. ( Check out #11 )
A social network for Tea drinkers? Of course! Steepster developed from two friends keeping track of their tea drinking into a full-fledged social site that has bountiful discussions about tea houses, tea blends, and all things associated with the drink. The “places” feature is new as of this past Friday, so maybe your help is needed to review the best places to find tea?
Kettle and Cup shows us how to make Chai-filled cupcakes! Sounds delicious!
LOCAL LINKS:
The New York Times has a really interesting article about Union College and its relationship with Schenectady. ( via Amy Mengel )
Flickr user Waterfall Guy posted some beautiful photos from around the Capital Region over the weekend. This shot of the minerals oozing from one of the springs is gorgeous.
The “A Half Hour a Day” blog reminisces about living in Saratoga Springs, and the early days at Uncommon Grounds. Hello to you, too!
VIDEO OF THE WEEK:
Preview clip for Anthony Bourdain on Yo Gabba Gabba in a few weeks. ( via Table Hopping )
